Can I catch it?



We finally figured out that Jack wouldn't get near his Grandma because he was convinced he would catch her cancer.  


Most children are familiar with colds and flus – which they know they can “catch.” If the person is dying from an illness that isn’t contagious, reassure your child that they can’t catch it.

Clearly explain that they can safely touch the person and share food with them. They can also touch the body after death.
